WIRELESS NETWORK TECHNICIAN
Location: St. Paul, MN
PCS Technologies, Inc. Provides installation and technical support to the service provider community for Wireless Broadband (4G) Networks. This position requires a 2 Year technical degree in telecommunications or a 4 Year Degree in the Computer Science Field.
The candidate will have a working knowledge of Broadband networks and TCP/IP fundamentals (mandatory).
This position will support state of the Art Wireless Broadband technologies, including WIMAX, LTE and Licensed Microwave Backhaul solutions.
Requirements:
Experience in telecommunications or Data Communications.
Excellent sense of Customer Service and Problem Solving.
Basic understanding of broadband networks and measuring equipment for troubleshooting and diagnostics.
Certification by known communication companies, such as Cisco or Juniper Networks (advantageous).
Good Analytical Skill and attention to detail.
Ability to generate reports and technical documents in a publishable format.
Willingness to travel extensively (up to 50 percent of the time).
Ability to Lift up to 50 pounds.
